We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for talented people to join us! We are seeking a full-time Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Valley Fiber.

The Sales & Marketing Coordinator is supported by the Director of Acquisition Marketing.

Job Overview:
As an experienced and energetic professional, you will play a key role in coordinating and executing events for Valley Fiber’s Sales & Marketing team. This role is also crucial to supporting Valley Fiber’s community and business engagement programs with third party organizations across Manitoba.

What You’ll Do:
• Plan, direct and oversee internal and external events
• Track and report on the outcome of each event, including but not limited to
key metrics such as customer interactions, sales, conversion rates and
spend
• Chair the Valley Fiber sponsorship committee that helps coordinate and
execute opportunities for the organization to make an impact in our
community
• Liaison with various Chamber affiliations across the Province in support of
our Business (B2B) Sales & Marketing programs
• Accountable for the procurement and management of branded materials,
merchandise, and apparel for external and internal needs
• Budget and contract management

What You Bring:
• Previous experience in coordinating corporate events and managing
external vendor, partner and supplier relationships is required
• Post-secondary education in business administration, commerce or
equivalent combination of education/experience is an asset
• Experience with budget management, tracking and reporting required
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated professionalism, strong organizational skills and ability to
work effectively independently
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate about community engagement
• Valid class 5 driver’s license is required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Marketing or sales background is an asset
• Working knowledge of project manager (Monday.com) and Gantt chart
software is an asset

Working Conditions:
• Ability to work on internal systems for long periods of time
• This position requires evening and weekend availability for coordinating,
supervising and/or leading various Valley Fiber events, throughout
Manitoba (including in Winnipeg from time-to-time)
• Ability to be on-call and work overtime as required
