CASUAL HOUSEKEEPER

The Gardens on Tenth is a non-profit organization that provides housing, meals, activities, support, and other services to seniors.

Position Overview
To maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and safe environment for the tenants that live here and staff that work here.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Perform a variety of cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry, window and wall washing, change bed linens, restocking supplies, operate mechanized cleaning equipment.
• Cross train in all housekeeping positions
• In suite cleaning
• Building cleaning
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies

Minimum Qualifications
• Previous cleaning experience would be an asset.
• Must have the physical stamina and mobility to perform housekeeping duties.
• Ability to work well with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to read and speak English effectively.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
