Red Seal Carpenter

Job description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Red Seal Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various carpentry tasks, including but not limited to:

-Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirements

-Measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials (wood, metal, and other materials)

-Installing structures and fixtures, such as plant repairs etc.

-Inspecting and replacing damaged framework or other structures and fixtures

-Utilizing hand and power tools effectively and safely

-Ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards

-This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in various construction tasks.

Duties:

• Fabricating and installing various building components

• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks

• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively

Qualifications:

-Red Seal certification in Carpentry

-Minimum of 2 years of experience in carpentry or related field

-Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications

-Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods

-Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively

-Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship

-Strong problem-solving skills

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required

• Ability to fabricate building components as needed
