Animal Care Technician

We are currently accepting resumes for a full-time Animal Care Technician position at our farm in the hog industry.

Job Requirements

• 1+ year experience preferred but not required; will provide full training for the right candidate.
• Valid drivers license and own vehicle are required. No exceptions
• Good Verbal/Written communication in English
• Works well under pressure
• Only candidates who can live and work in Canada legally, not requiring a work permit will be considered. No LMIA sponsor
• Rotational Weekend work is required

Job duties include but not limited to

• Ability to follow strict vaccination and herd health program
• Ability to follow strict biosecurity protocols to ensure herd health safety
• Feeding/watering animals
• Pressure Washing and cleaning rooms
• General farm maintenance upkeep
• Other duties dependent on the area you will work.
