Direct Sales Representative

Valley Fiber is on a mission to bring dedicated internet to homes across rural Manitoba, and we're looking for enthusiastic Door-to-Door Sales Representatives to join our team. In this role, you'll be the face of Valley Fiber, connecting directly with homeowners to showcase the benefits of our high-speed fiber optic internet service.

As a Door-to-Door Sales Representative, your main responsibilities will include:
• Going door-to-door in rural communities to introduce residents to Valley Fiber's internet service and explain how it can revolutionize their online experience.
• Building genuine connections with homeowners and addressing any questions or concerns they may have about our service.
• Customizing our offerings to fit each household's specific needs and preferences, whether they're streaming movies, gaming, or working from home.
• Using a systematic approach to sales, including mapping out neighborhoods, tracking interactions, and managing leads.
• Collaborating with our team to ensure a seamless transition for customers from sign-up to installation.
This role requires flexibility, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. You'll primarily work in the field, but occasional office visits may be required for meetings or training sessions. As you establish yourself in the role, you can expect to spend more time engaging with customers in their homes and attending community events.

To excel as a Door-to-Door Sales Representative, you should have:
• Previous experience in sales or customer service roles, with a passion for connecting with people
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in an accessible way
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, while also thriving in a team environment
• Familiarity with internet technology and an interest in staying up to date on industry trends
• A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
