PERMANENT Outreach Facilitator

Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) or related undergraduate degree/diploma in Human Services
- Work experience in a social services setting with demonstrated knowledge of child development, family centered service, early intervention, family support and comunity-based services
- Relevant advocacy work within the education system

- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills; problem solving, decision-making, assessment and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and with school teams

- Skills and knowledge in program development in areas related to cultural programing, health and healthy living, identity, and mental health

- Ability to network with various professional community members and orgaanizations
- Valid class five driver's license

Reports to: Director of Student Services

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director of Student Services and in collaboration with administrators and school teams, the Outreach Facilitator is responsible for providing supports to students and families and improving attendance concerns throughout the Division.
