Home Care Support Worker

We are looking for a Live-in Caregiver to support an elderly senior living independently in her home. This individual would have respite every other weekend.

Responsibilities would include:
- helping with personal hygiene including dressing, undressing, giving baths, etc.
- administering medication and keeping daily records
- preparing food
- providing companionship
- doing laundry
- light housekeeping

Qualifications:
- Experience with taking care of the elderly
- Patience and compassion
- The ability to prepare home-cooked meals
- Fluent in English
- Training as a Health Care Aide is an asset
- Being able to speak the Low German language is an asset
