Since 1973 Art Magic Carpentry (AMC) has been a leading provider of woodworking products and services including; architectural millwork, wood veneer and plastic laminate casework, restoration work, rough carpentry and construction to major, commercial and institutional projects in Southern Ontario and beyond. In 2017 to service Western, Central Canada and the USA the Manitoba office was established. AMC is fully insured and bondable and offers exceptional services and expertise.

We understand the importance to have your design and budget needs on target. We have a diverse and professional staff of product experts to help you achieve your project goals. Our custom estimating software provides the level of detail necessary to accurately cost and monitor your project taking it to the next step in Project Management.

Project Management and Engineering
With our in-house drafts-people working alongside our product experts we strive to meet and exceed your design from initial schematics through to the final details. We employ an entrepreneurial-based management style to reduce overhead and bureaucracy to increase project efficiencies. From submittals to final punch-list our experienced Project Management will lead you through all aspects for our scope of work by working closely with all project team members providing a solution based management mind-set.

Supply, Scheduling and Installation
With the help of our prequalified vendor partners, we build solid relationships to align with our core values alongside your project goals and requirements. We provide detailed schedules from submittals through to final turnover, documenting and verifying performance along the way. Usually one of the last trades onsite our professional installers combine hands-on craftsmanship and the latest technology bringing the last steps of your project to life and across the finish line. In conjunction with this, AMC employs well-developed health and safety policies and practices on every project we undertake.

All projects are treated as unique since they typically require a variety of products produced from a broad range of materials including plastic laminate, wood veneers solids and carvings, stone, glass, architectural metals and solid surfaces. AMC regularly collaborates with established prequalified vendors – each specializing in a product type – to provide a full range of architectural woodwork to complete projects, both small and large in a professional and timely manner.

Site work is carried out by our certified carpenters, who are members of Local 27, Ontario Provincial Council, Carpenters and Joiners of America or Local 183 Labourers. They install a wide-range of products including but not limited to; standing and running trim, frames / doors, decorative screens, cabinetry, paneling, custom desk and all aspects of complex architectural millwork.
