The Portage Learning and Literacy Centre is a not-for-profit organization providing individuals of the Central Plains region with opportunities to realize their education, employment, and immigration goals through a positive and supportive environment. Our programs include Adult Education - Mature Grade 12, Adult Literacy, on-site daycare; Newcomer Settlement Services - many services for all newcomers to Canada; Employment Assistance Services - for anyone needing help finding a job; PWEP, skills training and work experience for youth (ages 15-30) and PACE, skills training and work experience for persons with disabilities. Plus, many other smaller programs and wrap-around support services.
