Portage MCC Thrift Shop is largest, and longest-operating thrift store in Portage la Prairie. In operation for 34 years in Portage la Prairie, we sell donated clothing, books, furniture and other items in order to raise in-come for the ministry of MCC. The shops are a ministry in and of themselves, providing low cost goods to people in our community as well as providing international and local aid. Our Thrift Shops also makes a valuable contribution to good stewardship and a healthy environment by recycling items that might otherwise be thrown away. We also provide a sense of community to volunteers and the people we serve through social interaction in a caring environment.
