The Bethesda Foundation was created by consent of the Manitoba Legislative Assembly of Manitoba July 9th 1980. Since it was established in 1980, the Foundation has provided funding for the improvement of health care services at the Bethesda Hospital, Bethesda Place, and in the community and continues to seek and meet the funding requirements necessary to improve current and future health care for the community.
