Hiring for fulltime and part time employment.

Your role would include direct support in all aspects of day to day living.

Daily requirements of job are based on individual’s personal goals and interests.

Maintaining a friendly and supportive relationship with all individuals in the home.

Provide necessary assistance to participate in the community.

Medication administration & personal care as needed

Assist with professional appointments as needed

Assistance in maintaining a personal home and meal preparation.

Maintain required daily documentation

Positions holds a variety of shifts to be worked; evenings, weekends, over nights (sleep and awake)

Qualifications:

Grade 12 education (Canadian)

Clear Criminal Record Check & Adult Abuse Registry Check

Current certification in emergency First Aid and CPR (adult)

Valid driver’s license – access to own vehicle is an asset

Preferred Skills:

Previous experience supporting adults with an intellectual disability

Can work effectively as a team member and can demonstrate a positive attitude towards supported individuals and coworkers.

Ability to take initiative, problem solve and multitask

Effective communication and written skills in English

Willingness to learn

Ability to maintain integrity in all situations.
