History

Seed-Ex has experienced rapid growth since it opened for business in September 1996 in Letellier, Manitoba, a small western Canadian farming community on busy HWY 75 just minutes from the U.S. border.

The swiftly-developing agricultural trading company was established by Roger Barnabe, a Letellier businessman with and accounting and farming background who saw an opportunity for Canadian producers to export significant quanitities of malting barley to the United States.

Our trading area encompasses all of Manitoba, and Southeastern and Northeastern Saskatchewan. Seed-Ex is a family corporation and beleives in establishing a longterm relationship with both producers and customers.
