From the very beginning, Cam Christianson and his family were committed to hard work and excellence in service. Cam, Sharlene and their two boys, Blair and Brooke, purchased the Crusader Motor Inn and then the Heartlander Motor Inn in Stettler, Alberta and they’ve been operating hotels ever since. In 2003, the family moved to Drumheller where they opened several more hotels and a new head office.

The Canalta family has since expanded to include Ramada and Super 8 Hotels, and their own Canalta Hotel brand. Their original philosophy still remains and guides the foundation for the way they do business
