Education Assistants (non-union)

Rates of pay - Qualified EA $23.87/hour or Unqualified EA $21.03/hour

Current KPDSB EA/ECEs will be paid at their current rate of pay

July 12th - 30th, 2021 (Primary) 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

Dryden-Open Roads Public School - One Student Learning Education Assistant
Summer Learning Program

The Elementary Summer Learning programs are open to students in grades 1-3 for the Primary programs.

Summer Learning programs provide opportunities for students to increase achievement and build confidence. Achieved program outcomes will minimize summer learning loss and promote academic, social and emotional success.


Student Learning Assistants will collaborate with team members to plan, prepare and provide positive learning opportunities for all students that are inclusive, diverse and equitable.

Student Learning Assistants will need to be prepared to deliver programs virtually under direction of the Ministry of Education and/or Northwestern Health Unit.
