We are looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team. As a member of our Finance Department, you will oversee the day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) activities. You will also be responsible for the planning of work flows, data entry and duties related to the AP function. This includes filing, cheque runs, maintaining AP records, vendor reconciliations and performing other administrative duties, as required. You will ensure the timely and accurate processing of AP documents and any other accounting transactions related to the AP function.
As the ideal candidate, you will be detail-oriented, with excellent organization, communication and time management skills. You will have a minimum of five (5) years’ related experience and a Certificate in accounting or in another directly related field. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software is required (experience in Great Plains software is considered an asset).
