Administrative Assistance-Bookkeeper

Titan Contractors is currently seeking an Administrative Assistance-Bookkeeper for a full-time permanent position. Titan Contractors is a family run and oriented organization that prides itself on quality service throughout Northwestern Ontario. The successful candidate will make an outstanding addition to the office administration and accounting teams.

Required Skills/Capabilities

· Candidates must be organized and detail oriented.

· Ability to pick up new skills quickly and proficiently, particularly software tools.

· Strong aptitude with Microsoft Office Suites including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

· Knowledge and experience with QuickBooks and SharePoint would be considered an asset.

· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to maintain confidentiality.

· Work well under pressure and deadlines.

· Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.

Supporting accounting department in general duties including, but not limited to:

· Perform full cycle accounting duties including month end reconciliations.

· Timely response to phone calls and emails.

· Professional communication with vendors and clients.

· Assist with payroll duties.

· Manage calendars, scheduling and adjusting appointments in an ever-changing environment.

· General office tasks, such as filing, maintaining the cleanliness of the office and surrounding area.

· Strong collaboration skills that enable the building of strong, positive relationships with diverse groups.
