This is a new position and pay will be based on candidates’ skills and experience.
Best suited for a creatively engaged individual who enjoys a challenge Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite – specifically Photoshop, In-Design, Illustrator and some Microsoft Office Mac based platform and related daily use programs Able to easily conceive and execute creative concepts Strong understanding of typography, illustration, composition, and colour theory Must be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment Comfortable following direction, receiving feedback and implementing changes as needed during the creative process Professional communication skills both verbal and written Strong attention to detail, organization, and importance of timelines Knowledgeable and/or experienced with commercial printing procedures for both digital and offset processes
What would you do:
Consult with clients to establish overall look, graphic elements, content, and purpose of communication material Create digital concepts that are presented to client, reviewed, edited, and once approved packaged for printing Multi-tasking is required daily to manage time sensitive projects Collaborate and assist with larger project development and marketing strategies
Post-secondary education mandatory with any listed: Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in arts, communication, marketing, advertising or graphic design OR equivalent experience in freelance or of a professional capacity.
