DESCRIPTION
Maple Leaf School, in Western School Division, is seeking to fill a part-time Kindergarten Teacher position in the English Language program.

The successful candidate must be a qualified teacher possessing a valid Manitoba teaching certificate or the ability to obtain such. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent classroom management abilities, possess knowledge of assessment and evaluation, and demonstrate knowledge of Early Years Philosophy. S/he must: have good written and verbal communication skills; demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills; present themselves professionally; demonstrate their ability to be a team player, function well as part of a team and working collaboratively with teaching colleagues; and be adaptable and flexible with the demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment. The knowledge and capacity to teach in both English and French are considered an asset but not required.
