Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic Journeyperson or Red Seal Wanted

By’s Transport Inc is growing!! We are looking to hire in our BRAND NEW SHOP!
We are currently looking for an experienced 2nd or 3rd year Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyperson or Red Seal Truck Mechanic to join our team in St. Adolphe, MB.
JOB ENTAILS:
Thoroughly diagnose, repair, and maintain all mechanical aspects of equipment, both in the shop and in the field( If a road call is necessary)

Complete preventative maintenance on equipment, including but not limited to filter/fluid changes, component testing and lubrications, as well as various system adjustments.

Test, troubleshoot, adjust, and replace parts on equipment as required.

Maintain work area cleanliness and ensure tools are organized on a regular basis.
Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are working properly.

Ensure a safe and productive work environment with a strong work ethic and sense of integrity

HOURS:
M-F 8 am- 5pm
OR- work weekend days and have two days off during the week ( flexible work schedule)
We are able to accommodate a flexible work schedule – open to discuss

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Reliable & Punctual
Ability to fix AC units
Diagnose and repair various engines
Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services
Truck or Trailer CVIP license an asset
Experience working on hopper bottom trailers an asset
Aluminum/Welding Experience would be an asset
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Professional and detail-oriented
Computer Knowledge
Must be able to work collaboratively in a team setting with minimal supervision

RESPONSIBILITIES Include:
Ensuring work area is clean
Correctly recording use parts, materials, and labour on computerized work orders
Providing repair services at a high standard
