Science Instructors - sessional positions

Providence is a Christ-centered post-secondary institution that is striving to be among Canada’s foremost Christian universities. Located 30 minutes south of Winnipeg in Otterburne (Manitoba, Canada), this institution encompasses a University College and a Theological Seminary.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Providence University College invites applications for one of several part-time in-person (not online) positions as a Sessional Instructor in the sciences, beginning Monday September 4th, 2023. These positions are open for individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Anatomy and Physiology
• Introduction to Chemistry
• Organic Chemistry

Positions are 4-8 months during the 2023/2024 academic year, with the potential for renewal in future years.

QUALIFICATIONS

An ideal candidate will have a Masters or PhD in a related field, experience leading in the classroom and/or laboratory, passion for student mentorship, and demonstrable independence and organizational skills.
