Service Writer/Advisor

Stonehammer Diesel is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Service Writer/Advisor, to join our team.

The responsibility of this role includes:
-Answer phones.
-Greeting customers, checking in vehicles, writing work orders.
-Consulting with customers regarding service appointments.
-Opening & closing work order in a timely manner.
-Ordering parts, building quotes & estimates.
-Follow up phone calls - keeping the customer informed of the status of the repair.
-Review & ensuring work orders are completed & communicating all aspects of repairs with customers.
-Maintaining ongoing relationships with customers.

Job Requirements:
-Automotive & parts knowledge.
-Strong communication skills.
-Telephone/computer skills a must.
-Become familiar & efficient with all phases of our computer system required for service & parts management.
-Self-motivated /multi-tasking.
-Adaptable to a changing work environment.
-Ability to prioritize & organize your work.
-Must be well groomed & dress appropriately.
