Municipal Emergency Coordinator

Applications are now being accepted for the position of Municipal Emergency Coordinator for the Municipality of North Norfolk. The successful applicant will be required to implement the Emergency Plan when necessary. Responsibilities include:
• Updating, coordinating, providing recommendations, agreements and to liaise with the Manitoba Emergency Organization.
• Annual Review/update of the Emergency Preparedness Plan.
• Coordinate training/testing of the Plan in conjunction with MB Emergency Measures and associated teams including volunteers and promote it locally.

This individual must be self-motivated and comfortable reporting to and working with boards and provincial representatives. Details of contract remuneration will be negotiated.

Proposals to include:
• Resume outlining related experience and qualifications.
• Three work-related references.

The contract will remain open until filled.
