Local/City Driver Opportunity

Portage Transport is looking to expand their city/short haul driving position full time opportunity available. This position involves delivering and picking up trailers around Winnipeg and surrounding areas. Drivers must be comfortable hauling reefer, dry vans, loading and unloading freight.

Qualifications include:
• Clear communication and willingness to continually learn
• Class 1 License
• Experience in trucking is an asset
• Able to provide a current driver’s abstract
• Familiarity with ELD’s an asset
• Ability to keep track of their own hours and good time management skills
• Physically fit, able to crank dollies
• Week days and weekends availability is a requirement

Drivers get to work with newer equipment.
