Heavy Duty Mechanic

Genco Asphalt is a privately owned and operated, family-based road construction company. Our approach to work is centered on quality and safety. All employees must participate in Genco’s policies, practices, and procedures. We are seeking a full-time Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities include:

• Repair and maintenance of Semi-trucks, dump trucks, trailers, loaders, skid-steers, etc.
  
• Safety Inspections
• Perform scheduled maintenance service
• Service Calls
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation
• Inspect equipment for proper performance and check equipment for defect faults and malfunctions
• Perform diagnostic testing to identify problems and determine the solution to solve the problem
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance
• Clean and lubricate equipment
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Trade Certification
- Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Red Seal Endorsement
- 3-5 years' experience
