Security Guard-Mobile Operator

Commissionaires Manitoba is seeking applicants to join our security services team for full and part time mobile patrol opportunities in Southport and Portage La Prairie. With a nigh shift schedule, duties are to conduct mobile patrols of a specified area, exterior visual inspections, and physical door checks of buildings to assist in the detection and reporting of vandalism, theft or safety-related incidents within the area.
Applicants shall be physically and mentally able to perform duties, be highly reliable, have strong attention to detail, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Applicants will be required to possess current Manitoba Security Guard license, if not licensed must successfully complete the Manitoba Security Guard Training Program (includes Criminal Record & Child Abuse Checks). Commissionaires will provide necessary training using in-class and/or virtual environment.. Training will normally be in person, however virtual training is possible. Applicants must have reliable computer and internet to attend virtual training.
Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license (no learner’s permit) and provide a clean driver’s abstract. (within reason)
Bilingual (English/French) an asset, Canadian Forces and RCMP veterans are encouraged to apply.
