MMJS Law Offices is seeking an immediate hire for a Real Estate Secretary in our Manitou Office.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and drafting various correspondence and documents
- Manage all real estates files from beginning to end
- Registry searches, order documents from TPR
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, financial institutions, realtors and other relevant parties
- Use conveyancing software to process correspondence related to real estate files
- Prepare sales transactions, trust letters, and deposit funds to meet closing dates
- Performing general administrative or other duties as required
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressure environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Mature attitude and deadline driven
- Detail-oriented
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Adobe, pdf Docs.)
- Previous legal assistant/paralegal experience preferable but not essential
