Medical Office Assistant

Humboldt Family Physicians is looking for casual medical office assistant. Would be required to work Friday at a minimum with the potential for other days on a casual basis (1 day a week). Potential candidate should be energetic, efficient, and willing to work in a team. The work environment will be fast paced, require multi-tasking and attention to detail. Confidentiality, reliability and a friendly positive attitude are a must. Strong computer aptitude is necessary with the ability to learn new programs including the use of an electronic medical record (EMR). Will be working with other staff in a variety of duties including reception, filing and some clinical tasks. Starting wage based on qualifications/work experience. Preference given to those with previous experience. On the job training could be provided to the right candidate.
