Journeyperson & Apprentice Mechanic

We are looking for an individual who possesses many diverse skills to fill the role of a journeyperson and an apprentice mechanic at Axess Heavy Duty Services Ltd. We are a growing mechanic shop located in Rosetown, SK who provides high-quality repair services for our customers.

The Role: Journeyperson & Apprentice Mechanic

Responsibilities include:

• Maintenance and servicing of on-highway transport, construction & agricultural equipment
• Inspect and test repaired equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Perform individual tasks and work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Document repairs, parts, or problems encountered during the repair process on work orders.
• Contributing to the cleanliness of the shop as a professional space where customers are welcome to come in and check on the progress of their equipment.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Mechanic: Completed apprentice training in the truck transport, automotive, off highway or Agricultural mechanic trades.
• Apprentice Mechanic: Accepting applicants who are experienced in any trade level.
• Interest in continually upgrading skills and knowledge in the trade industry.
• Ability to work overtime is an asset.
