We are seeking out a full-time Sales & Events Coordinator to join our team at Valley Fiber. This position reports to the Director of Sales.

What You’ll Do:
- Organizing, planning, and assisting with Valley Fiber events
- Assisting with the sponsorship and donation committee
- Supporting Valley Fiber’s large scale company goals
- Collaborating with marketing, sales, and the business development team
- Gather information from the marketing, sales, and business
development teams and assist in communication between teams regarding
various Valley Fiber events
- Determining which products can be sold in Valley Fiber’s coverage maps
- Creating reports and produce Gantt charts as needed
- Office administrative tasks as assigned
What You Bring:
- Previous experience in coordinating corporate events is required
- Post-secondary education in business administration, commerce, or relevant
work experience is an asset
- Valid class 5 driver’s license is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Marketing or sales background is an asset
- Working knowledge of Project Manager (Monday.com) & Gantt chart software is an asset
- High level of organization
- Ability to carry out direction and communicate direction as required
- Strong digital literacy and ability to understand and create reports
- Ability to synthesize information accurately and professionally
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a diplomatic attitude
- Ability to collaborate well as a team player
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to negotiate effectively
- High level of adaptability with changing processes
- High degree of professionalism
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work on internal systems for long periods of time
- This position requires evening and weekend availability for coordinating
various Valley Fiber events
- Ability to be on-call and work overtime as required
