We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our trading team as the Logistics Manager in our Morden, Manitoba operation. Responsibilities would include:
- responsibility for the timely delivery of contracted commodities
- negotiating transportation rates
- establishing & maintaining seamless customer relations
- data entry in a customized computer program
- proficiency in word and excel programs preferred
Ability to work as part of the overall company team is necessary. Candidates with rural backgrounds and a strong work ethic will be given first priority. Strong planning, decision making and problem solving skills are essential qualifications. Attention to detail, multi-tasking and solid oral/ written communication capabilities are required. Experience in the logistics/transportation industry is also essential, preferably a minimum of 3 years.
