Full Time Developmental Aide

As a Developmental Aide you will have a special role of working one-on-one with a child who requires special assistance. You will work collaboratively with other professionals, early childhood educators and the Centre Director to accomplish goals laid out in the child’s PPP plan.

Job Responsibilities Include:
- Work one-on-one with child to work towards various goals in the PPP plan
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding child’s milestones/setbacks
at the centre
- Modify/plan centre activities that encourage inclusion of the child.
- Actively participate in other daily responsibilities at the centre as assigned
by Director.

Required qualifications:
- ECE I or willingness to work towards certification. Other related education
or experience is an asset
- Recent criminal record check with vulnerable sector search
- First Aid/CPR or willingness to acquire upon hire
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Proficient in English language skills
- Experience with young children
