Payroll Administrator
Location: Okotoks, AB

We are looking for a Payroll Processing Administrator to join our Corporate Office Human Resources team in Okotoks, AB.
Responsibilities and Skills:
Processing of multi bi-weekly payrolls and employee payments & deductions for assigned Business Units
Understanding of gross to net payroll data; time and attendance, bonus’, taxable benefits, in addition to deductions (garnishments, various benefit premiums and voluntary deductions)
Understanding and issuing of ROE’s
Ensure the accurate and on time pay for all assigned employees by utilizing set edit procedures
Prepare and submit biweekly payroll journal entries and reconciliations
Perform payroll year end reporting requirements per CRA Regulation
Work with the Business Units to understand their procedures and policies
Stay current with payroll regulations, employment standards and work procedures
Collaborate with the HR department on the coordination of employee benefits and personnel records under the document cloud and records retention requirements
Demonstrate the ability to work with multi people personalities in a respectful, sensitive, tactful, diplomatic and professional manner at all times
Be an active and consistent team member who displays accountability, reliability, and dependability
Qualifications:
Payroll experience and working towards designation considered an asset
Working knowledge of Federal and Provincial legislation applicable to payroll practices
Experience working with ADP - WFN product software would be considered an asset
Payroll Accounting experience an asset
Possess working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
Have the ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team environment

Have excellent multi-tasking abilities with attention to detail
