Location: Okotoks, AB

We are looking for a Payroll Processing Administrator to join our Corporate Office Human Resources team in Okotoks, AB.

Responsibilities and Skills:
 Processing of multi bi-weekly payrolls and employee payments & deductions for assigned Business Units
 Understanding of gross to net payroll data; time and attendance, bonus’, taxable benefits, in addition to deductions (garnishments, various benefit premiums and voluntary deductions)
 Understanding and issuing of ROE’s
 Ensure the accurate and on time pay for all assigned employees by utilizing set edit procedures
 Prepare and submit biweekly payroll journal entries and reconciliations
 Perform payroll year end reporting requirements per CRA Regulation
 Work with the Business Units to understand their procedures and policies
 Stay current with payroll regulations, employment standards and work procedures
 Collaborate with the HR department on the coordination of employee benefits and personnel records under the document cloud and records retention requirements
 Demonstrate the ability to work with multi people personalities in a respectful, sensitive, tactful, diplomatic and professional manner at all times
 Be an active and consistent team member who displays accountability, reliability, and dependability

Qualifications:
 Payroll experience and working towards designation considered an asset
 Working knowledge of Federal and Provincial legislation applicable to payroll practices
 Experience working with ADP - WFN product software would be considered an asset
 Payroll Accounting experience an asset
 Possess working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products
 Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
 Have the ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
 Be committed to the process of continuous improvement and ongoing change
 Have excellent multi-tasking abilities with attention to detail
 Take the initiative to achieve high standards in all aspects of job duties
