Safety Supervisor

We are currently seeking a Safety Supervisor who can support our business operations through their strong sense of ownership and passion for safe work and an excellent employee experience.

In This Position You’ll Have the Opportunity to Do What You Do Best:

• Build trust and relationships with staff based on your expertise, credibility, and positive attitude.
• Lead our Farm and Packing Plant’s safety programs and systems.
• Incident prevention/management, investigations, and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Creation and delivery of safety training and materials, and maintenance of training records.
• WCB/WS&H reporting.

We’re Looking For:

• An optimistic person who sees solutions and improvement opportunities in every situation.
• A self-motivated, solution-oriented mindset and willingness to take initiative.
• 5+ years experience leading safety in agriculture, construction, or related field.
• Experience with COR and/or made Safe’s Safe Work Certification processes.
• Fluency in the Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health Act and Regulations.
• The ability to prioritize, drive, and close projects.
• Exceptional ability to plan and organize.
• Approachability and professionalism.
• Valid class 5 driver’s license.
