Swine Production Technician

Rainbow Colony Farms Ltd. consist of poultry, grains and hog farm. Our 5,500-sow hog barn located in Ile des Chenes MB is seeking to fill the position of Swine Production Technicians in both breeding and farrowing area. To be successful you must posses’ good communication skills, be task-driven and efficient team player.

Daily activities include:

-Feeding and caring of animals
-Monitor herd health.
-Maintenance of farm records
-Follow strict biosecurity protocols.
-Room preparation for animal entry
-Animal movements and other breeding or farrowing
duties as assigned.

Requirements:

-Valid driver’s license.
-Ability to lift and cope in fast phase environment.
-Availability to work on rotational weekend.
