Smith Neufeld Jodoin LLP has an opening for a receptionist / legal assistant at our office in Niverville. In this role you will work at the front desk, providing assistance to clients and other members of the team. You will be client service oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 5:00. This is a full time permanent position with no evenings or weekends.
Receptionist responsibilities include greeting clients, answering phones, distributing incoming mail/deliveries/faxes, copying, filing, and arranging for courier services. Legal responsibilities include obtaining title searches, tax information, and other information required in opening files. You will also prepare letters, documents, and reports, and complete other tasks as needed, as you advance in the position.
1-3 years previous reception and/or administrative experience is required. Training will be provided for the legal components of the position.
