As a Detention Guard the successful candidate will have the following duties: Monitor arrestees/detainees to ensure their safety and security according to procedures and protocols established by the Police Services.

Qualifications:
Valid Security guard license preferred.
Possess or have the ability to obtain a current Criminal Record Check
Perform regular checks on arrestees/detainees for safety/security and well being.
Possess or be able to obtain First Aid & CPR /AED qualification.
Monitoring of Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV)
Assist Police when required/escort duties.
Record all activities, maintain logbooks, complete written and electronic documentation.
Strict adherence to all Police Service policies
Applicants will undergo a police screening by the Winkler, Altona and Morden police services as part of the application process.
