Home Support worker .9 rotation (on the job training available)

What does a shift look like?
• Assist in activities of daily living including personal care in a person directed home where individuals get up when they want and go to bed when they want
• Light housekeeping & helping with meals and baking
• Companionship: Finding out what a good day looks like for those we care for and carrying that out (games, music, outdoors etc)
• Administer medications, documentation and reporting

What do you need to work with us?
• Previous experience is considered an asset but not required – on the job training available
• Compassionate heart to serve others as a team player
• Physical ability to assist with all aspects of client care and transfers
• First Aid and CPR or signed up for a course, clear Criminal Record check and Clear Adult Abuse Registry
