Site Supervisor

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing supervision and management of all on site activities (safety, quality, and productivity). Projects are small/mid size that will require a quick response to ensure a smooth flow of the projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Supervising, coordinating, and scheduling the daily activities.
Coordination of work activities with subcontractors and suppliers.
Order materials, supplies and necessary equipment to perform tasks.
Overall responsibilities would include but are not limited to, safety, quality, scheduling, communications, and duty assignment.
Engage in planning and executing the work, interpret specifications, and coordinate the various phases of the work to ensure it is completed safely and on-time.
Perform quality control checks on a regular basis.
Ensure work is installed following good building practices, is to industry standards, manufacturer's standards.
Coordinate with trades, suppliers, and employees to ensure a proper plan of action is in place and proper tools, equipment and materials are on site in a timely manner to execute the work.
Work with other parties to resolve any conflicts or problems that may arise during construction.
Understanding of Construction Management processes and procedures.
Skills & Knowledge:

Computer literate with a strong working knowledge of MS Office package and MS Projects
Strong organizational and communication skills
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to multitask, work independently, prioritize, and understand the sense of urgency required to maintain even flow of construction.
Must have a strong moral vales and be trustworthy.
Qualifications:

5 years minimum experience as a Site Supervisor.
Certified tradesperson with related work experience.
College Diploma as a Technologist/Technician or related construction management educational field.
