Job Description:

Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors

Dust furniture

Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture

Make beds and change sheets

Distribute clean towels and toiletries

Stock linen closet

Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances

Pick up debris and empty trash containers

Launder clothing and household linens

Mend clothing and linens

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Shop for food and household supplies

Wash windows, walls and ceilings

Prepare meals

Requirements:

Education: No education required.

Experience: Experience is an asset. Will train.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods

Personal suitability: Punctuality, Dependability, Flexibility, Initiative, Organized, Reliability, Values and ethics

Weight handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Language: English is required

Salary: $19.00 hourly, 37.5 hours per week.

Benefits: Dental benefits. Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate.

Important Information: Flexibility in schedule is required. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Work on weekends and overtime may be required.
