Experienced Lead Hand

Wiebe's Steel Structures is currently looking to hire a full-time experienced Lead Hand to assist the Site Supervisor with the day to day tasks of erecting steel metal buildings.

The successful candidate will have the following skills: knowledge of quality control, supervisory skills, able to read blueprints, strong time management skills, strong communication skills both written and oral.

Key Responsibilities:
-Assist with quality control.
-Assist the Site Supervisor to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and according to the project plans.
-Assist the Site Supervisor to ensure the safety of the crew.
-Oversee the training of the crew on safe work procedures, and safety procedures.
-Train and mentor new crew members, offering constructive feedback.
Wages will be based on experience.
