Automated Potato Packing Line Operator

Heartland Fresh Pak is a Potato washing and packaging plant that is located 5 miles south of Winkler on Hwy 32. Heartland is currently accepting applications for operating new fully automated potato packaging line. This is a full time year round position. This positon is day shift Monday-Friday with some overtime during busy season. Heartland offers competitive benefit and pension plans.

Position duties include but not limited too.

• Operate the automated packing line
• Keep the line in good working order
• Keep and inventory of packaging materials
• Keep the line and surrounding packaging area clean
• Set printers with right tags and date codes

Qualifications

-Must be a team player
-Detail oriented
-Must be able to lift 50lbs
-Maintenance background would be a great asset
-Reliable means of transport to get to work
-Ability to read and write English
-Some computer knowledge
