JOB DETAILS
Salary: $130,000 annually for 40 hours per week ($62.50 per hour on a 40-hour work week)

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Employment conditions: Day, Morning

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Languages: English

Education: Degree in dentistry

Experience: Experience an asset

Work setting: Private practice

Specific Tasks/Responsibilities:
• Examine patients' teeth, gums and surrounding tissue
• Diagnose disease, injury and decay and plan appropriate treatment
• Restore, extract and replace diseased and decayed teeth
• Perform oral surgery, periodontal surgery and other treatments
• Supervise staff
• Clean teeth and instruct patients on oral hygiene
• Design bridgework, fit dentures and provide appliances
• Write fabrication instructions or prescriptions for use by denturists and dental technicians

Supervision: 1 to 2 people

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: National Dental Examining Board of Canada Certification

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Fast-paced environment, Walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Ability to distinguish between colours, Repetitive tasks, Work under pressure, Physically demanding
