Casual Primary Care Paramedic

With the current expansion of our work scope, Lanigan & District Ambulance Association invites applications for Primary Care Paramedic at their BHP Jansen Potash Project location. This is a Casual position.

Reporting to the Manager for Health & Contract Services, our Paramedics play a vital role in workplace wellness, providing advanced emergency medical care and pre-hospital life support for ill or injured persons. Our paramedics are part of a team of recognized professionals who collaborate with all healthcare professionals on-site.

Applicants will have strong assessment skills and the ability to analyze and prioritize risk factors in an industrial setting. They will have the ability to maintain, protect, and preserve the health of employees in their work environment, and to manage crises/emergencies within a team setting of Physicians and Paramedics. They will be innovative thinkers with effective communication and team skills.

Requirements
• Successful completion of a recognized paramedic education program
• Registered, or eligible to be registered, with SCoP
• Saskatchewan Class 4 Driver’s License
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and Workers’ Compensation law
• Required to stay on-site during 7-in/7-out Day and Night rotations
