Seasonal Farm Labour

Sissons Farms is a family run pedigreed seed farm located on the edge of Portage la Prairie. We run a current fleet of equipment and grow wheat, oats, canola, soybeans, edible beans.

Looking for a seasonal worker (2024 growing season).
Full time seasonal with year round opportunity for the right applicant.
Duties include but not limited to: Yard and building maintenance, grass cutting, tree trimming, painting, equipment maintenance and repair, aiding with field duties, equipment operation, harvest help.

Must hold valid class 5 or better drivers license, have reliable transportation to and from work.
Be capable of understanding tasks and complete in safe and efficient manor.
Have general knowledge of maintenance and repair of equipment,
Be physically able, (running, climbing, bending, lifting, work at heights) Grain dust is common.
Farm experience an asset
