Job Description:
Establish methods to meet work schedules
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
Hire food service staff
Ensure food service and quality control
Prepare budget and cost estimates
Address customers' complaints or concerns
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
Prepare and submit reports
Prepare food order summaries for chef
Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
Supervise and check assembly of trays
Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
Establish work schedules
Requirements:
Education: Completion of secondary school is required
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required. In the event that the candidate does not have at least 2 years of experience, a post-secondary certificate related to hospitality or food and beverage service is required.
Knowledge of Mediterranean food is a strong asset.

Salary: $20.00 hourly, 39.5 – 49 Hours per week
Benefits: Commission provided.
Important information:
Work schedule: From Tuesday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 10 am to 5:30 pm. Flexibility on schedule will be required depending on the business’ needs. Sometimes, especially during the months of November and December, the chosen candidate will finish the day at 7 pm. Overtime is required.
