Stucco plasterer

Imperial Stucco Ltd. is a construction business based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba. We are professional, agile and our goal is to provide top of the line exterior and interior construction and improvement solutions.

If you are a quick learner who has done stucco labouring in the past and would be willing to get on the wall, you will also be considered.

Responsibilities:
- Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth finish
- Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer
- Mix plaster ingredients according to specified ratios
- Use hand tools and power tools to shape and smooth plaster surfaces
- Repair cracks and holes in existing plaster
- Follow blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate plaster application
- Work collaboratively with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and painters, to complete projects

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a plasterer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of plastering techniques and materials
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and following specifications
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with other professionals on construction projects

Salary: $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

Day shift
Monday to Friday
Morning shift
Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate: Winnipeg, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience: Experience is an asset but willing to train the right indiviual.
