Agriculture Equipment Mechanic

H & L Motors is seeking a full-time Agriculture Equipment Mechanic. We are a small locally owned agricultural equipment sales and service dealership that covers the southeastern Manitoba area. As a family run business, we take pride in working alongside our employees.

The ideal candidate is one who can work independently and efficiently on a wide variety of tasks. The individual must be familiar with a large range of agriculture equipment and tractors with a minimum of 2 years of mechanical experience. Apprentices are welcome to apply. Some weekend and on-call work during the growing season is required.

Job duties & responsibilities include:

• Diagnose & inspect equipment
• Repair, replace and calibrate equipment to resume working order
• Assemble new equipment and inspect prior to delivery
• Complete work orders
• Contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of the shop

Job requirements and qualifications include:

• Trained Agriculture Equipment Technician, or Apprentice Technician may be considered

• Be assertive and have the ability to work with minimum supervision

• Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong English speaking & comprehension skills
