Lead Hand - Evening Shift Supervisor

Lead hand responsibilities range from making sure all safety rules are followed to making sure production expectations are achieved and filling in where needed.
Hours are evenings Monday - Friday from 3:30 - 12

Reports to: Supervisor
Responsibilities:
-follow and enforce all safety rules
-follow all quality and production standards
-help train employees
-help where needed
-know a variety of jobs around the business
-ensure all packaging and shipping rules are followed
-communicate issues, damages or delays to the supervisor
-ensure work order information has been entered on the computers
-help supervisor where needed
-organize the workshop
-additional training will be provided

Minimum Previous Experience:
-1 to 2 years experience in leadership
-3 to 4 years in manufacturing

Requirements:
-English reading and writing skills
-strong communication skills
-attention to detail
-can work under pressure
-read and follow blueprints
-have reliable transportation to work
-be able to work independently
