As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will operate various types of heavy machinery to support construction and infrastructure projects. Your expertise in equipment operation and safety will be crucial to the success of our team. Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections to ensure proper functionality.
• Follow project plans, blueprints, and specifications to execute tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Strong understanding of elevations and grades.
• Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate and optimize equipment usage on-site.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure the smooth progress of projects.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the construction industry.
• Min 2 years experience working around live utilities.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license and clear driver’s abstract
• Physical stamina and flexibility to work in various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with various types of heavy machinery and their functionalities.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in equipment operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
REFERENCES REQUIRED
$28-32/HR
